Geocaching with CONY
at participating campgrounds and RV parks

A Region for Everything (Region Map)

Welcome to Geocaching at Campground Owners of New York (CONY)!  CONY's summer geocaching program kicks off on June 1, 2012. Caches will be hidden all across New York State, at the locations listed below. To try your hand at geocaching, just visit one of the participating locations starting June 1st.

To geocache, find the hidden cache using GPS coordinates, grab an item in the box and leave an item for the next person in return. Rules for Geocaching at CONY campgrounds and RV parks are available at each location, or by contacting the CONY office at info@nycampgrounds.com.  Also, you are asked to follow the rules of each participating park.

GEOCACHE AND WIN ON JUNE 9TH!  Last year, Kristen Sperry, Kayla Eramo and Allie Theis found the specially-marked GO DAY geocaching coin on National Get Outdoors Day winning a new handheld GPS unit! Who will find the GO DAY coin this year? On June 9th, 2012 (National Get Outdoors Day) one of the parks listed below will hide the specially-marked 2012 GO DAY COIN in their cache, and you might find it to win a special prize!  Learn more about getting outdoors at National Get Outdoors Day.

What a great way to spend time outdoors with friends and family! And if you've never geocached before, what a great new adventure!
