Geocaching with CONY
at participating campgrounds and RV parks

A Region for Everything (Region Map)

Did you enjoy geocaching on National Get Outdoors Day, June 11th?  CONGRATULATIONS to Kristen Sperry, Kayla Eramo and Allie Theis, three young ladies who banded together to find the special GO Day Geocaching Coin that day. They found the coin hidden at Susquehanna Trail Campground in Oneonta, NY, and were awarded the GREAT prize pack (including a new handheld GPS unit) at the special GO Day Pig Roast and concert at the park later that night. Welcome to Geocaching at Campground Owners of New York (CONY)!
CONY's summer geocaching program kicks off on June 1, 2011. Find your way to caches hidden all across New York State, at the locations listed below. You can start geocaching by visiting one of the participating campgrounds or RV parks and picking up your CONY Geocaching “Passport to Fun.”

As you geocache from place to place, you’ll find “CONY coins” hidden in the caches and get your passport stamped. Once you collect at least five stamps, redeem your passport for a prize provided by CONY (prize redemption good through October 15, 2011). Rules for Geocaching at CONY campgrounds and RV parks are available at each location, or by contacting the CONY office at info@nycampgrounds.com (passports must be obtained at the participating locations, though). Also, you are asked to follow the rules of each participating park.
